Warsaw based opportunity with possibility to work in hybrid model!

As a Middle Office Analyst you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution providing investment banking services to a global customer base across more than 160 countries. You will be part of a dynamic team handling Capital Markets transactions such as equities, bonds, and derivatives. The project involves supporting traders with transaction processing, monitoring, and settlement across international markets. You will play a key role in maintaining operational accuracy, ensuring compliance, and optimizing trade execution in cooperation with brokers, custodians, and internal departments.

Your main responsibilities: Provide operational support to traders for securities, cash, and derivatives transactions

  • Monitor trade flows and ensure timely matching and settlement
  • Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies and failed transactions
  • Maintain and update static data across internal systems
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal stakeholders
  • Perform reconciliations between internal and external records
  • Collaborate with brokers, custodians, and transfer agents globally
  • Identify and support process improvement initiatives
  • Participate in system changes and team-level implementations
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and market regulations

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems under pressure
  • Willingness to learn and develop within the capital markets industry
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Experience in or willingness to understand financial instruments and trade lifecycle
  • Degree in finance, economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Comfort with multi-party communication across global teams
