As an MLOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading organization in financial services, committed to innovation and leveraging cutting-edge technology. You will play a crucial role in driving the success of Machine Learning operations by collaborating with Data Scientists to translate complex models into scalable production solutions. Your expertise will help establish robust pipelines, deploy models on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and ensure efficient integration between cloud and on-premises environments. Your contributions will directly improve the organization’s ability to detect financial anomalies and reduce false positives through advanced ML tools.
You’re ideal for this role if you have: Collaborating with Data Scientists to prepare and preprocess data for model training
- Assisting in feature engineering and selection to optimize model performance
- Deploying and managing ML models on GCP’s Vertex AI platform
- Developing techniques to visualize and explain model behavior in line with guidelines
- Building and maintaining ML pipelines for model training, tuning, and deployment
- Implementing automated monitoring and alerting systems for model performance tracking
- Developing data quality checks and validation procedures in line with retention controls
- Implementing security measures to protect sensitive data and models
- Establishing best practices for ML Ops, including version control and CI/CD pipelines
- Identifying performance bottlenecks in ML models and optimizing pipelines for efficiency
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering and pipeline development
- Hands-on experience with GCP tools, including Big Query, Cloud Composer, and Vertex AI
- Solid experience in building and maintaining scalable ML pipelines
- Expertise in MLOps principles and the tools that support them
- Proficiency in version control and CI/CD practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Experience with Java (optional, but beneficial for certain tasks)
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and deployment strategies
- Familiarity with data quality and retention controls
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams to achieve project goals
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with tools such as Docker, Apache Airflow, and Terraform
- Familiarity with machine learning monitoring tools and model governance
- Understanding of financial services or surveillance IT
- Knowledge of security best practices for handling sensitive financial data
