Mobile Technical Lead (Android)

As a Mobile Technical Lead (Android) you will be working for our client, a global financial organization leading the charge in redefining digital wealth management. You will be part of an innovative project aimed at launching a next-generation mobile investment platform that allows users to manage diversified portfolios including ETFs, mutual funds, and shares. Built on a modern and scalable framework, this platform focuses on delivering a seamless user experience through robust mobile solutions. Your main responsibilities:Leading the Android development team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery

• Designing scalable and maintainable mobile architecture aligned with project requirements
• Developing robust, efficient code using Kotlin and Java in Android Studio
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align product design and technical implementation
• Reviewing code contributions and mentoring developers to uphold best practices
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation for continuous delivery
• Ensuring Android apps comply with design, accessibility, and performance standards
• Managing technical debt while optimizing performance and scalability
• Contributing to sprint planning, estimation, and architectural decision-making
• Writing and maintaining clear, comprehensive technical documentation

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience as a senior developer or technical lead on Android projects
• Expert-level knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, and Java
• Strong command of Android architecture components and Jetpack libraries
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs, JSON, and network handling in Android
• Experience with dependency injection frameworks like Dagger or Hilt
• Solid understanding of Android UI/UX principles and custom views
• Background in CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Experience with performance optimization and memory management
• Proficiency in writing unit and UI automated tests for Android apps

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with background processing and asynchronous programming in Android
• Knowledge of Android’s permissions model and security best practices
• Familiarity with Firebase Cloud Messaging and push notification systems
• Understanding of Android NDK and integration of native code
• Expertise in Android architecture patterns like MVVM or Clean Architecture
