Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month)
As a .NET Developer, you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking, on projects involving project management and implementation in information systems based on Oracle technologies. You’ll collaborate with end-users to gather and analyze data requirements, participate in internal software testing, update technical and functional system documentation, contribute to the development of new solutions, and assist in improving data quality in systems and applications exporting data to data warehouses.
Your main responsibilities: Lead project work and implementation in Oracle-based IT systems
- Collaborate with end-users to gather and analyze data requirements
- Participate actively in internal software testing
- Create and update technical and functional system documentation
- Contribute to the development of new solutions
- Implement actions to improve data quality in systems and data-exporting applications
- Support in reviewing technical specifications and project documentation prepared by third-party teams
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum 3 years of programming experience in IT projects using technologies such as C#, .NET (including version 4.5), WCF, SQL, SQL Server Integration Services, HTML, MVC.NET
- Knowledge of Javascript, jQuery, jQuery UI, HTML (including version 5.0)/CSS (including version 3.0)
- Proficiency in Visual Studio Ultimate 2013
- Experience in unit testing and test automation process
- Experience in web application development
- Familiarity with design patterns and OOP principles
- Practical experience in designing and programming information systems for financial institutions or similar entities
- High autonomy, goal-oriented, and consistent in task execution
- Excellent organizational skills, quick learning ability, and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of business and system requirements analysis for IT systems, including analytical thinking and precise formulation of statements
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with business clients, internal teams, and external vendors, including proficiency in English for working with technical documentation and literature
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Basic knowledge of UX design
- Familiarity with AGILE, XP methodologies
- Knowledge of PL/SQL language and Oracle database
- Practical familiarity with at least one CASE tool, e.g., Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect, and UML language
- Experience working in a matrix structure
- Knowledge of ITIL
