Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (3 days/week in the office)
As an Operations Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution focused on delivering operational excellence across customer service and support functions. You are helping to ensure compliance, risk control, and the continual improvement of internal processes that serve high-value clients. Your role is pivotal in maintaining audit standards, generating management information, and supporting governance through strong data handling and reporting. Operating in a dynamic, process-driven environment, you are collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold efficiency, accuracy, and exceptional service quality.
Your main responsibilities: Producing, analysing, and interpreting Management Information (MI) for business insights
- Maintaining the highest standards in audit, compliance, and internal control processes
- Completing and updating data requirements such as timesheets and leave requests
- Performing root cause analysis and assessing business risk and client impact
- Handling stakeholder ad hoc requests, reports, and service escalations
- Reviewing and updating procedural documents on a regular basis
- Conducting end-of-day checks and ensuring process quality standards are met
- Supporting staff development through feedback, coaching, and training
- Contributing to ongoing process improvements and implementation of procedural changes
- Building professional relationships with business partners to identify service improvement areas
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Experience working with Management Information (MI) and operational data analysis
- Strong knowledge of audit, compliance, and regulatory standards
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to process accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging stakeholders
- Ability to perform quality checks and ensure adherence to service standards
- Experience completing reports and handling time-sensitive operational tasks
- Understanding of operational risk assessment and mitigation
- Ability to work under pressure and meet productivity targets
- Commitment to fair treatment of customers and market integrity
- Passion for service excellence and process efficiency
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with root cause analysis in service operations
- Familiarity with financial services compliance frameworks
- Background in training or mentoring team members
- Knowledge of internal governance and control reporting practices
