PHP Developer

As a PHP Developer, you will be working for our Client – one of the top insurance companies in Central and Eastern Europe employing over 1000 people in IT. You will be a part of an environment where development cooperates with maintenance, and IT is close to the business. Join the team and deliver the best solutions to the projects conducted by the company.

Your main responsibilities: Develop and implement functionalities for a CRM-class system using PHP

• Optimize the performance of delivered solutions to ensure scalability and reliability
• Maintain and update the technical documentation repository for IT systems
• Stabilize and improve existing solutions, ensuring their continued performance and efficiency

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong knowledge of PHP 8+, including the latest features
• Experience in designing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases and SQL queries
• Familiarity with jQuery
• Proficiency in writing unit tests and experience with PHPUnit
• At least one year of continuous experience in PHP-based projects
• Previous experience working in Agile teams (Scrum)
• Excellent teamwork, self-reliance, communication skills, and openness

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Expertise in PL/pgSQL, including creating and optimizing functions, procedures, and triggers
• Familiarity with Angular 16+ framework
• Experience in building applications using Responsive Web Design (RWD) techniques
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization practices
• Experience with CRM-class systems
• Background in the insurance industry
• Ability to deliver services from within Poland
