Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work 60% remote
As a PMO, you will be working for our client, a leading organization fostering a data-driven culture through robust data governance, strategic training initiatives, and sustainable capabilities. You will play a critical role in ensuring project and programme governance while delivering change management excellence. This role will require you to communicate effectively across a broad stakeholder network, providing assurance, challenge, and expertise in driving the success of the client’s Data Change Centre of Excellence.
Your main responsibilities:
- Supporting the Programme Manager to ensure delivery aligns with cost, quality, and timescale objectives
- Monitoring and escalating RAID issues to successful resolution
- Managing and monitoring governance arrangements as per the client’s Change Framework
- Monitoring, reporting, and managing budgets and expenditure for portfolio governance
- Reviewing Change Requests and preparing business cases for Triage reporting
- Running programme governance activities, including sponsor connects and monthly meetings
- Tracking benefits and OKRs against committed targets
- Promoting high-quality reporting standards for delivery updates and milestones
- Implementing delivery standards and conducting quality assurance checks
- Providing support for delivery setup, tracking, and closure activities
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a PMO role
- Proven experience with data-related change, ideally within financial services
- A strong working knowledge of agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban
- Proficiency with agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- The ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders across a global matrix organization
- Experience designing and implementing process improvements at Portfolio or Programme levels
- A proactive and organized approach to managing complex information and reporting
- Fluent English
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Familiarity with the client’s specific standards and processes
- Expertise in agile ways of working and knowledge-sharing practices
- Demonstrable experience providing advice and training on methodological changes
