As a Project Manager, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution focused on enhancing cybersecurity across its operations. You will manage the delivery and execution of cybersecurity projects aimed at safeguarding the organization’s digital assets. In this role, you will oversee multiple work streams, ensuring the successful implementation of new products and services. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, utilizing Agile methodologies to manage resources, mitigate risks, and meet the organization’s stringent governance standards.

Your main responsibilities:

• Leading product development and managing project work streams using Agile methodologies
• Defining project goals, scope, and priorities in collaboration with cybersecurity teams
• Managing project dependencies, risks, and blockers, escalating issues as necessary
• Collaborating with third parties, including vendors and legal teams, to ensure smooth project delivery
• Ensuring adherence to organizational governance controls and policy standards
• Overseeing the product development backlog and aligning it with project priorities
• Actively managing blockers, issues, and risks while recommending solutions to stakeholders
• Monitoring and reporting project progress to the Product Owner and Portfolio Manager
• Driving alignment with the organization’s cybersecurity strategy and objectives
• Facilitating communication and relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience as a Project or Delivery Manager in cybersecurity programs
• Strong knowledge of Agile project delivery and experience using JIRA and JIRA administration
• Exceptional planning, organizational, and leadership skills
• Excellent business, stakeholder management, and communication abilities
• Experience managing third-party relationships and external vendors
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment
• Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance frameworks in cybersecurity
• Experience in managing resources and mitigating project risks
• Fluent English
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience as a Project Manager in highly regulated industries
• Previous experience as a Product Manager within a large organization
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and controls
• Familiarity with third-party security review processes in financial institutions
