As a Project Manager, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution, leading Cloud Compliance initiatives across multiple teams within the Technology division. You will be ensuring adherence to Cloud policies, managing compliance-related activities, and supporting cloud strategy implementation. Your role involves driving teams to meet security and regulatory requirements, establishing strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. You will also engage with audit, risk, and control functions to maintain compliance, ensuring successful project delivery and benefit realization.

Your main responsibilities:

• Monitoring compliance with Cloud policies and ensuring alignment with the organization’s Cloud Strategy
• Driving teams to adhere to security controls and regulatory standards
• Managing project approaches, securing stakeholder buy-in, and tracking progress
• Creating and maintaining task tracking systems to support global strategies
• Establishing strong relationships with internal teams, central functions, and third-party providers
• Holding regular meetings with team leads to track progress and address risks
• Providing management oversight to align compliance initiatives with broader program objectives
• Supporting the development and execution of the Cloud Enablement program office
• Engaging with Audit, Risk, and Control teams to ensure regulatory compliance
• Overseeing portfolio support activities as required by the Chief Technology Office

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong project management and portfolio management experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent analytical skills to understand complex technical and business challenges
• Knowledge of Cloud Compliance, security controls, and regulatory requirements
• Experience managing stakeholders and securing buy-in for strategic initiatives
• Strong understanding of Cloud FinOps and Cloudability
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence for project tracking
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across multiple teams
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience in audit, risk, and compliance engagement within a cloud environment

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in financial services or a highly regulated industry
• Understanding of IT governance frameworks and compliance methodologies
• Cloud certifications such as AWS, Azure, or GCP compliance-related credentials
