As a Senior Project Manager, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution focused on delivering robust cybersecurity capabilities across its infrastructure. You are responsible for planning and executing cybersecurity engineering projects that align with strategic goals, security controls, and governance standards. You are leading cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder expectations, mitigating risks, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. You are also contributing to change management, resource planning, and technology integration to strengthen the client’s defense posture against emerging threats.
Your main responsibilities: Defining project scope, milestones, and timelines aligned with cybersecurity strategy
- Coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors to drive execution
- Leading risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies with control owners
- Monitoring progress using dashboards, metrics, and detailed reports
- Managing project budgets, resources, and third-party vendor relationships
- Reporting regularly to leadership and maintaining project documentation
- Driving compliance with internal control and governance frameworks
- Managing changes to project scope through established change management procedures
- Presenting complex technical updates to non-technical and senior stakeholders
- Staying updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and technology trends
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Proven experience managing large-scale cybersecurity or technology transformation projects
- Background in information systems, technology consulting, or architecture
- Strong understanding of endpoint protection, cybersecurity, and risk management
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills
- Ability to manage resources and budgets across multiple teams and regions
- Experience leading teams in highly regulated, global financial environments
- Knowledge of agile and waterfall project management methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strategic thinking
- Familiarity with cyber control frameworks, standards, and methodologies
- Ability to translate technical issues into actionable insights for business leaders
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience working with cloud, SaaS, and enterprise-scale security technologies
- Familiarity with endpoint protection tools like EDR, DLP, and anti-malware
- Experience in a product owner or technology strategy role
- Knowledge of compliance standards, local regulations, and global cybersecurity laws
- Background in cybersecurity consulting or engineering leadership
- Track record of leading transformation initiatives and promoting change
- Experience working across government, academia, or industry on security issues
- Understanding of Windows, Linux, and server endpoint environments
- Ability to influence beyond direct team or department
- Previous experience managing teams of cybersecurity SMEs
