Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work 60% remotely!

As a Project Manager, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution, to drive data management and governance initiatives. You will be responsible for planning, mobilizing, and delivering complex projects within the Data & Analytics Office (DAO). The role involves deploying DUSE Discovery delivery, ensuring compliance with the Client Change Framework, and coordinating across teams using AGILE methodology. You will collaborate with process owners, IT architects, and service owners to ensure accurate and timely data management.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Programme Manager and DAO Portfolio Management team to ensure project alignment with the DAO Strategy
  • Influence project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around project plan, commitments, and changes
  • Lead change initiatives, establishing robust project governance including clear sponsorship
  • Partner with delivery POD Leads/Scrum Masters to facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
  • Ensure effective project delivery, highlighting, escalating, and resolving risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Proactively manage baselined scope, requirements, benefits, schedule, and budget
  • Manage stakeholder and senior management relationships across different markets and GBGFs
  • Provide leadership across the project, setting team performance expectations and monitoring progress
  • Oversee a team, managing delivery and reporting for complex assignments
  • Make recommendations to influence decision-making and maintain progress toward delivery and benefits realization

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Broad and comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles within multiple disciplines
  • Advanced understanding of the industry and the relative positioning of the client’s products and services
  • Management experience with responsibility for multiple teams and independent budgets
  • Ability to solve complex problems with innovative approaches based on extensive research
  • Proactivity in developing ideas and continuously searching for improvements in techniques
  • Strategic thinking with latitude to make decisions within the business’s objectives
  • High sensitivity to the audience, modifying beliefs and opinions of others
  • Experience in both internal and external negotiations impacting the function or business unit
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a challenging but collegiate environment
  • Familiarity with AGILE methodology and Client’sChange Framework

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience in data management and governance initiatives
  • Knowledge of financial data and regulatory compliance
