As a Python Developer, you will be working for our Client, a leading financial institution focused on enhancing electronic distribution channels within their FX Options business. You will be integral to developing and maintaining front office applications, ensuring they meet daily operational needs, and supporting global rollouts of new technical solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Implementing front office applications for the FX Options business
• Building and testing both front-end and back-end components
• Providing ongoing IT support to meet daily operational needs
• Working with business support functions to deliver technical solutions
• Managing and participating in eTrading project development for simulation analytics
• Building Data Science-focused analytics features for various trading desks
• Collaborating with local and global teams to ensure seamless project delivery
• Providing regular feedback on deliverables to IT management
• Ensuring adherence to Agile development methodologies
• Guiding and mentoring junior team members

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• A minimum of 3 years’ IT software development experience
• Solid experience in Python
• Proficiency in Pandas, Numpy, Flask/Django
• Ability to work with local and global teams
• Good understanding of Agile development methodology
• Leadership skills to provide guidance to junior team members
• Flexibility in delivery responsibilities
• Strong desire to learn and grow
• Fluent English
• Experience with building FX or Rates pricing systems

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in machine learning, NLP, AI
• Experience with KDB or Cloud solutions
• Experience in Data Science-focused analytics features
