React Developer

As a React Developer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution. You will join one of the Client’s departments, contributing to the development of agile and high-quality user interfaces for a variety of banking and digital transformation projects. Your role will focus on ensuring UI consistency, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to deliver exceptional solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Developing high-quality, reusable, and scalable front-end components using JavaScript, React, Redux, HTML, and CSS
• Ensuring design systems are implemented effectively with responsive and accessible web standards
• Addressing cross-browser compatibility issues and ensuring consistent user experiences
• Collaborating with product owners, engineering leads, and design communities to meet project objectives
• Maintaining and improving a shared component library for consistency across applications
• Mentoring junior team members and providing guidance on best practices
• Iterating on development with consideration for fast-paced delivery without compromising quality
• Implementing and adhering to accessibility standards across all user interfaces
• Working with engineering leadership to ensure UI consistency across applications while adhering to best practices in UX/UI

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, React, Redux, HTML, and CSS
• Strong ability to write reusable and modular code with high fidelity to JavaScript fundamentals
• Proficiency in developing and implementing design systems and responsive web applications
• Solid understanding of component-based development in a shared style guide context
• Deep knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
• Experience addressing cross-browser concerns and ensuring a consistent user experience

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience working in banking, retail, or digital transformation domains
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA
