Securities Operations Officer

Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office)

As a Securities Operations Officer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution, managing and supporting the processing of securities trades. You will be responsible for ensuring timely verification and reconciliation of trades, handling settlement instructions, and investigating discrepancies. Working in a multi-system environment, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and other financial institutions, supporting smooth operations and accurate reporting. Your role will combine analytical skills with attention to detail, allowing you to contribute to efficient trading and settlement processes in a fast-paced securities operations environment.

Your main responsibilities: Verifying unmatched trades and settlement instructions in a timely manner

• Reconciling stock trades related accounts across multiple systems
• Controlling trade confirmations and reporting discrepancies
• Investigating inter-bank issues and handling SWIFT messages
• Collaborating with internal teams and external financial institutions
• Managing multiple applications to ensure accurate operations
• Supporting daily securities operations and ensuring compliance with procedures

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Higher education in Finance, Accounting, or Securities Business
• Strong knowledge of English (minimum B2)
• Analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Experience working in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to work in a multi-system environment efficiently
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Previous experience in securities operations or trade processing
• Knowledge of SWIFT messaging and settlement processes
• Familiarity with trade confirmation and reconciliation procedures
