As a Seeburger Developer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution focused on delivering cutting-edge technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency. In this role, you will contribute to the development, integration, and optimization of enterprise-level data interchange (EDI) systems, ensuring seamless communication between internal and external stakeholders while supporting robust monitoring and troubleshooting processes.
Your main responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing Java-based solutions for the EDI platform
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope
- Collaborating with team members to ensure successful project delivery
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for the EDI platform
- Investigating system failures and incidents reported on supported services
- Communicating with Business and IT teams to coordinate solutions
- Performing root-cause analysis for service issues
- Supporting service recovery and providing on-call support when required
- Working with upstream and downstream systems for design and integration
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Experience with Seeburger BIS, including development on Process, Mapping, and Overlay
- Strong skills in Java development and integration using protocols such as AS2, SFTP, MQ, Kafka, and HTTP
- Hands-on experience in DevOps and automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible, or G3
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux/Windows environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Oracle Databases, SQL, MongoDB, or Postgres DB
- Knowledge of Microservices and cloud architectures such as GCP
- Awareness of logging and monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, or Grafana
- Fluent English
- Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed, multi-site team
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, or Docker containers
- Good understanding of banking transaction systems or the banking domain
- Background in monitoring tools like Datadog
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Knowledge of incident, problem, and change management procedures
