Senior Business Analyst – Markets and Securities Services

Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model (3 remote days/week).
As a Senior Business Analyst in our client’s Markets and Securities Services Product Control Change Delivery team, you will be instrumental in shaping key transformation initiatives. You’ll work on multi-year programs to enhance data quality, streamline processes, and partner across functions to deliver innovative solutions in a dynamic financial environment.
Your main responsibilities:
- Understand and optimize FX position processes within Product Control and share insights with Traded Risk teams.
- Liaise with and educate Traded Risk on PC business processes around FX positions and FX P&L.
- Analyse P&L Explain data exceptions, identify root causes, and drive resolution.
- Improve governance of adjustments by analyzing, documenting root causes, and enhancing review routines.
- Collaborate with PC teams to improve data quality during adjustments and develop tooling for better visualization and review.
- Manage resolution of data exceptions, including requirements documentation, stakeholder alignment, testing, and supporting go-lives.
- Produce high-quality project analysis and documentation aligned with Business Transformation Framework (BTF).
- Liaise with Finance, Product Control, and IT stakeholders to define requirements, perform analysis, and support testing and delivery.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 2 years of experience in Markets and Securities Services, with practical knowledge of global market products and behaviors.
- Proven experience in project delivery, particularly in data quality, governance, and data lineage documentation.
- Solid understanding of project lifecycle methodologies, ideally with relevant certification.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated with a quick learning curve in changing environments.
Nice to Have (optional):
- Part-qualified accountant or similar financial qualification.
- Experience with data lineage documentation.
Language Required for the role:
- Fluent English.
