As a Senior Markets & Securities Services Business Analyst – Data & Process Optimization, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the Markets and Securities Services industry. In this role, you will support a multi-year programme of change impacting Product Control, focusing on data source enhancements, P&L explanation improvements, and operational model partnerships. Your work will directly contribute to more accurate data governance and smarter decision-making within a dynamic financial environment.
Your main responsibilities:
- Understand the FX position process within Product Control and collaborate with Traded Risk for optimal data sharing.
- Liaise with Traded Risk teams and educate them on PC business processes related to FX position and FX P&L.
- Analyze P&L Explain data exceptions to identify root causes and develop solutions.
- Enhance governance of adjustments by analyzing root causes and documenting change requirements.
- Improve data quality captured during adjustments and develop tooling for clearer adjustment review.
- Manage resolution of data exceptions via stakeholder engagement, testing, and go-live support.
- Produce detailed project analysis aligned with the Business Transformation Framework.
- Coordinate effectively with Finance, Product Control, and IT teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Maintain high standards of business project documentation.
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 2 years of experience within Markets and Securities Services or a related line role.
- Strong knowledge of Global Market Products and behaviors.
- Proven project delivery experience, especially in data quality, governance, and data lineage documentation.
- Solid understanding of Project Lifecycle, preferably with a relevant qualification.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Fluent English language skills, both verbal and written, capable of producing clear project artefacts.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a self-motivated approach.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Part-qualified accountant credentials.
- Hands-on experience delivering projects aimed at data quality improvement.
- Willingness to take on increasing responsibilities within the team.
