Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (1 day in the office/week).

As a Senior Cloud DevOps/Admin Engineer, you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking, on a large-scale transformation of their data warehousing and analytics systems. You will contribute to designing and implementing secure, scalable, and resilient multi-cloud environments, supporting critical data workflows. Working alongside cross-functional teams, you’ll help automate infrastructure, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and develop monitoring solutions. This is a key role in a regulated corporate environment where cloud expertise, DevOps practices, and data processing excellence are vital for success.

Your main responsibilities: Design and implement data warehouse and analytics systems in a cloud environment

• Work on projects in public, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments to build secure and scalable cloud infrastructure
• Design and participate in internal software testing with a focus on task automation
• Collaborate with deployment teams from concept to implementation, providing technical expertise in cloud and data processing
• Plan, develop, and improve monitoring systems for cloud infrastructure, applications, and services
• Design and build automated processes for environment provisioning and configuration
• Develop infrastructure as code solutions
• Design and implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines (CI/CD)
• Maintain containerized applications
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve detected problems
• Create and update technical and functional system documentation
• Promote cloud best practices, particularly within Azure and GCP environments
• Support technical specification reviews and documentation provided by third-party team

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• A university degree in a technical field (preferably IT)
• Experience working in a regulated corporate environment
• At least 5 years of experience in complex data processing environments such as data warehouses or analytical systems
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Azure or Google Cloud Platform
• At least 2 years of experience as a database administrator
• At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps engineer, architect, developer, or CI/CD pipeline implementer using tools like Azure DevOps, Ansible, Jenkins
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Chef
• Proficiency in both Windows and Linux operating systems
• Strong knowledge of Git and experience using Atlassian Jira and Confluence
• Practical experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies like Docker and Azure Container Registry
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Independence, strong organizational and planning skills with a results-driven mindset
• Ability to analyze and interpret information from various sources and draw conclusions
• Confidence in asking questions and seeking out missing information
• Teamwork skills and a positive, client-focused attitude
• Willingness to develop professionally and take ownership of project delivery

Nice to have:

• Experience migrating systems, services, and users from on-premise to the cloud
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, firewalls, proxies, load balancers, HTTP(s), SSH, TCP/IP, REST, SOAP)
• Familiarity with Hadoop technologies like HDFS, Pig, Hive, Impala, Spark, and managing Hadoop systems
• Experience working with Machine Learning tools and platforms (e.g., Kubeflow)
• Certifications in cloud technologies (Azure, GCP preferred)
