Senior Data Analyst

Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office)

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services that is transforming the way it leverages data to drive decision-making. You will join a dynamic team responsible for turning raw information into actionable insights that guide strategic projects across different business areas. Your role will involve working with large and complex datasets, building dashboards, and developing reports that support both technical teams and senior management. This is an opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced and data-driven environment.

Your main responsibilities: Querying large datasets using SQL to extract and transform information

• Building and maintaining interactive dashboards with tools such as Tableau or Looker Studio
• Creating advanced reports and analyses in Excel with formulas and pivot tables
• Automating repetitive tasks and data manipulations using Python
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver tailored solutions
• Presenting insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ensuring accuracy and consistency of data across multiple sources
• Prioritising and managing multiple requests in a fast-paced environment

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with large, complex datasets
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, charts, and formulas
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Looker Studio, or Qlik
• Basic Python skills for data analysis and automation
• Proven ability to transform raw data into clear insights and visualisations
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data quality
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills with the ability to explain findings to diverse stakeholders

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience working with cloud-based data warehouses such as BigQuery
• Background in financial services or another regulated industry
• Knowledge of statistical methods and their application in business analysis
• Experience in Agile or cross-functional team environments
• Familiarity with data governance and compliance practices
