Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (3-4 days onsite per week).

As a Senior Java Developer focusing on financial technology solutions, you will be working for an international leader in banking and payment systems. You will contribute to high-stakes, regulated environments involving payment processing, SWIFT, and ISO 20022 standards. This role offers a chance to impact critical financial infrastructure and grow your expertise in global payments.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborate in requirements gathering and solution design for payment systems and messaging standards.
• Develop, test, and implement robust microservices using Java Spring Boot, Kafka, and related technologies.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot system incidents, and support production stability.
• Contribute to migration projects and the maintenance of ISO 20022 standards.
• Engage in CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker, and work effectively within distributed teams.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 4+ years of experience in Java development, specifically with Spring Boot and Kafka.
• Hands-on experience in microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of payment systems, SWIFT, or banking technology.
• Proficiency with REST API design and development.
• Ability to start with minimal notice (ASAP/1 month max).

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Experience with frontend technologies like React or Angular.
• Knowledge of financial messaging standards (ISO 20022, SWIFT).
• Experience with payments domain or regulatory compliance.

English – Communicative level.
