Senior Manager Process Engineer

Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).

As a Senior Manager Process Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global leader financial institution. The client focuses on creating world-class digital capabilities that drive efficiency, enhance customer experience, and support sustainable growth. You will play a pivotal role in reimagining processes, removing inefficiencies, and executing strategic change initiatives aligned with business objectives while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Your main responsibilities: Guiding and steering programme/project teams and stakeholders throughout change lifecycles

  • Designing and implementing initiatives to streamline processes and reduce complexity
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging technology and aligning practices with strategic objectives
  • Developing business cases and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize customer journeys
  • Leading and mentoring a team of Process Engineers and Business Simplification Managers
  • Applying Lean Six Sigma principles to enhance customer experience and process efficiency
  • Ensuring project delivery within budget, quality, and timeline constraints
  • Driving adherence to project governance models and promoting best practices
  • Collaborating with senior management to shape, prioritize, and execute change needs
  • Continuously enhancing the Process Engineering Practice through community engagement and knowledge sharing

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • 7+ years of experience in process reengineering and change management
  • Expertise in Waterfall and Agile Project Management methodologies
  • Ability to work autonomously and drive change initiatives effectively
  • Proven experience in data analysis and deriving key insights from complex datasets
  • Hands-on experience in driving Lean Six Sigma agendas and delivering projects
  • Strong communication, influencing, and facilitation skills
  • Critical and analytical thinking with the ability to challenge the status quo
  • Proficiency in process design, mapping, and modelling tools (e.g., ARIS)
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
  • Experience with project management tools like Confluence and Jira
  • Commercial acumen with a focus on delivering strategic objectives

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) or equivalent practical experience
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
  • PMP / Prince 2, Agile PM/BA certifications
