As a Senior Mobile DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution known for driving digital innovation across its wealth and personal banking services. The project is focused on transforming mobile platform capabilities to deliver seamless, high-quality products at an accelerated pace. You will be part of a team dedicated to enhancing the mobile engineering lifecycle through automation, tooling, and best practices. Your role will be critical in ensuring that mobile services adhere to the highest standards of quality, security, and performance while supporting the continuous integration (CI) pipeline and collaborating closely with development teams.

Your main responsibilities:

• Monitoring, maintaining, and extending the existing in-house Mobile CI pipeline (Jenkins & Vagrant) and related services
• Building and extending custom tooling in Python to enhance productivity across mobile teams
• Triaging and resolving Mobile CI pipeline failures, especially within the Americas timezone
• Participating in the configuration of automated tooling and reporting systems
• Managing in-house CI services and supporting the procurement of external services
• Engaging with development teams to identify common challenges and develop automated solutions
• Defining and implementing dashboards to monitor production services
• Configuring alerts and monitoring live systems to ensure reliability
• Supporting incident management and production system troubleshooting
• Ensuring mobile services conform to the client’s control standards and security policies

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Solid experience in a Mobile Engineering environment
• Hands-on experience with continuous delivery of mobile applications
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and Bash scripting
• Working knowledge of AWS for DevOps, including basic services and concepts
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, or Prometheus
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with incident management
• Understanding of API security principles
• Knowledge of JVM (Java Virtual Machine) memory spaces
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
• Experience with performance testing and optimization

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Exposure to procurement processes for external services
• Experience with managing and scaling Jenkins environments
• Familiarity with mobile app release automation
• Knowledge of developing and supporting custom dashboards for production monitoring
