As a Senior Node.js Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution. You will contribute to developing and implementing innovative solutions as part of a strategic global initiative to enhance PAM controls and capabilities. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will design, build, and integrate systems that meet enterprise-level requirements while ensuring performance, scalability, and security in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Your main responsibilities: Developing and implementing scalable solutions using Node.js frameworks like Nest.js or Express.js

• Collaborating with technical teams and SMEs to ensure seamless integration with existing systems
• Building and consuming APIs and web-based applications to meet business objectives
• Working closely with the testing team to identify and resolve pre-launch issues
• Coordinating deliverables with team members to meet project timelines
• Utilizing DevOps tools to maintain CI/CD pipelines and streamline development processes
• Leveraging containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment
• Ensuring software solutions align with performance and security best practices
• Managing source code using Git and adhering to version control best practices
• Documenting processes and ensuring effective communication across stakeholders

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 6+ years of experience in software development
• Strong programming expertise in Node.js with proficiency in TypeScript
• Experience in developing APIs and building web-based applications
• Excellent understanding of relational databases and associated technologies
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Cloud Platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and DevOps processes
• Proven ability to work autonomously with strong ownership and accountability
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
• In-depth knowledge of software performance and security best practices

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with MSSQL databases and database frameworks like TypeORM or Sequelize
• Familiarity with React.js or Next.js for front-end development
• Proven ability to automate development activities
• Proficiency in writing technical documentation like release notes or low-level designs
