As a Senior QA Automation Tester, you will be working for our client, a global organization leading in financial services and innovation. You’ll play a critical role in a newly formed team focused on developing advanced Treasury capabilities. Collaborating in a dynamic environment, you will design and execute automated tests for modern cloud-based systems, ensuring high-quality software delivery. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and methodologies, contributing to greenfield projects within a DevSecOps framework.

Your main responsibilities:

• Designing and developing reusable and efficient automated test scripts and frameworks
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Defining and implementing testing strategies, plans, and test cases for APIs, UI, and data pipelines
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects for prompt resolution
• Testing Jira tickets in alignment with acceptance criteria
• Reviewing code, designs, and test scripts to maintain high-quality standards
• Continuously improving testing processes and introducing best practices
• Participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to sprint planning
• Ensuring seamless integration and testing in CI/CD pipelines
• Innovating QA automation workflows to enhance software reliability

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation
• Proficiency in Java with microservice architecture
• Strong experience with Cucumber for BDD frameworks
• Hands-on expertise in API testing
• Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG
• Knowledge of TDD, BDD principles
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, and Maven
• A problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Strong foundations in Agile methodologies and practices
• Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies (Google or Azure)
• Knowledge of Flink, Airflow, gRPC, or WebSockets
• Expertise in API gateways and modern testing practices
• A background in testing financial analytics systems
