Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (6 days/month in the office)

As a Senior Software Engineer you will be working for our client, a global financial institution focused on delivering innovative digital solutions to enhance user experience and drive operational efficiency. You will join a cross-functional development team tasked with building scalable, high-performance applications to support key business functions. The project involves creating responsive single-page applications, integrating with modern backend technologies, and improving UX/UI design across platforms. This role offers a collaborative environment and the opportunity to stay at the forefront of modern web development practices.

Your main responsibilities: Developing and maintaining single-page applications using Angular

• Creating responsive and interactive user interfaces with HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
• Implementing server-side logic and backend integrations using Node.js
• Writing clean and efficient code aligned with industry best practices
• Debugging and troubleshooting application performance issues
• Collaborating with designers to enhance UX and UI design
• Integrating third-party services and RESTful APIs into applications
• Applying modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries to improve functionality
• Optimizing applications for speed, scalability, and performance
• Participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to sprint planning

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong proficiency in Angular for building SPAs
• Solid experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Practical knowledge of Node.js for backend development and API integration
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming, RxJS, and NgRx
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and external services
• Understanding of front-end build tools like Webpack, npm, or Yarn
• Proven debugging and performance optimization skills
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and working in sprints
• Ability to write maintainable, testable code
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team setting

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks
• Understanding of UX/UI design principles
• Previous experience in the financial services or fintech domain
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization
