As a Senior TypeScript/React Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution focused on delivering innovative solutions in trading technology. You will be part of a dedicated team that develops and enhances user interfaces for critical trading applications, collaborating closely with trading desks and quantitative teams. This role involves taking ownership of the full software lifecycle, from conception to deployment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and user-friendly interfaces that support business objectives.

Your main responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining user interfaces using TypeScript and React.js
• Collaborating with trading desks and quantitative teams to gather requirements
• Owning the full software development lifecycle, from initial design to deployment
• Conducting thorough testing and providing ongoing support for applications
• Implementing best practices for coding, testing, and deployment
• Utilizing WebSockets, SSE, and REST APIs to enhance application performance
• Creating responsive designs with CSS, Flexbox, and Less
• Integrating third-party libraries such as Lodash and RxJS for functionality
• Enhancing data presentation using AGGrid for improved user experience
• Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong experience with TypeScript and React.js
• Proven track record in developing user interfaces for financial applications
• Familiarity with WebSockets, SSE, and RESTful services
• Experience with testing frameworks, preferably Cypress
• Proficiency in CSS, Flexbox, and Less for responsive design
• Knowledge of data manipulation using Lodash and RxJS
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in the fixed income business domain
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices
• Knowledge of additional front-end libraries and frameworks
• Previous experience in a financial institution or similar environment
