Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (6 days/month in the office).
As an SFX Hedging Project Manager, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution engaged in global banking and markets. You will oversee the delivery of strategic initiatives related to SFX hedging for AT1 issuance and Day 2 infrastructure enhancements. Collaborating with Treasury Capital Management, Product Control, and Technology teams, you will define operating models, establish governance frameworks, and ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory standards. Your role will be pivotal in driving project execution, mitigating risks, and aligning stakeholders across multiple geographies to achieve business objectives.
Your main responsibilities: Managing the end-to-end project delivery for SFX hedging-related changes
- Defining and implementing an operating model to support NIH requirements
- Overseeing business requirements documentation and liaising with Technology teams
- Planning and prioritizing the Day 2 backlog for SFX Hedging initiatives
- Leading governance meetings, including project steering committees and working groups
- Ensuring adherence to Change Framework methodology, including risk and SOX assessments
- Coordinating resources and skillsets for project execution
- Driving stakeholder engagement to support project outcomes
- Identifying and mitigating project risks while ensuring alignment with internal controls
- Supporting business onboarding and production readiness for new implementations
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 5 years of experience in project delivery roles within financial services
- Prior experience managing hedge accounting projects
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall
- Knowledge of Global Banking and Markets, particularly FX Hedging
- Experience working with Atlassian toolsets such as JIRA and Confluence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Proven ability to work autonomously and drive project strategies
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and managing cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated with a rapid learning ability in evolving environments
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience leading a small team within a finance change function
- Prior exposure to regulatory and compliance-related project management
- Familiarity with non-financial risk frameworks and conduct risk assessments
- Hands-on experience in designing target operating models across multiple locations
- Understanding of capital transformation processes within banking institutions
