Software Engineer (Clojure)

As a Software Engineer (Clojure), you will be working for our client, a leader in software development. You will be responsible for designing and delivering cutting-edge solutions, focusing on hands-on development in Clojure.

Your main responsibilities: Write clean, secure, and well-tested code

• Identify appropriate technology and approaches
• Utilize test-driven development and pair programming
• Suggest process improvements and promote knowledge sharing
• Maintain and improve system robustness and stability

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong proficiency in Clojure with real-world delivery experience
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and Kafka Streams
• A passion for functional programming and collaborative software delivery
• Understanding of distributed systems and event sourcing patterns
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and eventual consistency models
• Experience in financial services technology or other mission-critical systems
