Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office)
As a Storage Automation Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial services organization that is driving large-scale digital transformation projects across its infrastructure. You will be supporting initiatives to modernize and automate testing for mission-critical systems, ensuring quality, reliability, and scalability. This role is focusing on building automation frameworks, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and integrating automated testing tools to streamline delivery processes. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance testing efficiency while ensuring compliance in a highly regulated environment.
Your main responsibilities: Writing and maintaining automated test scripts for infrastructure products and upgrades
- Building and enhancing automation frameworks from scratch
- Developing automation interfaces between systems and tools
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Managing code repositories with GitHub for version control
- Performing API testing using tools like Postman, Insomnia, or Swagger
- Executing web automation using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Collaborating with DevOps teams to ensure continuous integration and delivery
- Tracking and reporting defects using Jira
- Ensuring compliance with testing standards and security requirements
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Building and enhancing automation frameworks from scratch
- Developing automation interfaces between systems and tools
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Managing code repositories with GitHub for version control
- Performing API testing using tools like Postman, Insomnia, or Swagger
- Executing web automation using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Collaborating with DevOps teams to ensure continuous integration and delivery
- Tracking and reporting defects using Jira
- Ensuring compliance with testing standards and security requirements
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with Linux, Windows, or VMware server environments
- Knowledge of enterprise storage technologies such as Dell PowerMax, Pure FlashArray, or HPE Primera
- Background in storage automation using Python, Ansible, or Shell scripting
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code and orchestration tools like Puppet or Ansible Tower
- Experience with storage migrations or remediation projects
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience with data protection tools such as Veritas NetBackup or Commvault
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
- Knowledge of NetApp administration and troubleshooting
- Exposure to cloud storage solutions (AWS S3, GCP, or Azure equivalents)
