Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work 80% remotely!

As a Target Operating Model (TOM) Lead, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution. This role supports a large-scale Finance Systems Transformation Programme, addressing fragmented processes and legacy systems across multiple regions. You will lead efforts to design and implement the Target Operating Model, ensuring alignment with global standards and streamlined operations. Your work will be pivotal in delivering effective, sustainable change to meet evolving financial reporting and compliance requirements.

Your main responsibilities: Leading workstreams to design and implement the Target Operating Model

  • Managing end-to-end process design and ensuring alignment with global standards
  • Driving change management plans for implementing new systems and processes
  • Identifying dependencies and collaborating with other teams to ensure efficiency
  • Producing status reports, dashboards, and risk/issue logs
  • Engaging with stakeholders to align solutions with business needs
  • Ensuring documentation and validation of processes, controls, and structures
  • Driving automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy
  • Supporting organizational design by aligning it with updated processes
  • Conducting impact assessments and creating strategies for seamless transitions

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • At least 5 years of proven experience in Finance Change and Project Management
  • Expertise in large-scale system implementation projects within Banking or Finance
  • Strong understanding of process, control, and organizational design changes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements and design options
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Office
  • Experience working in an agile environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and influencing skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver under pressure
  • Capability to manage cross-regional teams effectively

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with regulatory reporting frameworks and compliance initiatives
  • Familiarity with global finance programs and alignment strategies
  • Knowledge of financial reporting standards and best practices
  • Exposure to automation tools and technologies for process optimization
  • Proficiency in managing multi-layered governance structures
