As a Tech Delivery Lead, you will be working for our Client, a leading global bank, on a strategic program aimed at enhancing fraud detection capabilities. The project involves upgrading the current transaction monitoring system to a new cloud-based solution, deployed across multiple global markets on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will lead and manage engineering and delivery teams, ensuring seamless integration with existing banking systems and facilitating Agile processes to achieve project goals.

Your main responsibilities:

• Leading and managing day-to-day activities of engineering and delivery teams
• Facilitating Agile team meetings, including retrospectives, reviews, and planning events
• Coordinating between internal and external engineering and architecture teams
• Managing technology engagements with new and existing product consumers
• Identifying and addressing resource gaps to enhance productivity and resilience
• Working closely with program managers and tech leads to ensure practical and deliverable technical requirements
• Facilitating team self-organization and continuous improvement of change activities
• Shielding the team from interruptions during sprints to maintain progress
• Coaching team members to enable Agile delivery and fostering a high-performance environment
• Ensuring alignment of activities with the product roadmap and customer expectations

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Significant proven experience in people and team management within a technology team
• Proven delivery management experience in a large, complex organization
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to switch contexts between different areas of the delivery lifecycle easily
• Experience with Agile technology delivery practices
• Strong technical background, preferably with cloud technologies and API development
• Ability to influence and gain buy-in from stakeholders without alienating others
• Comfort in presenting to wide groups of people across multiple seniority levels
• Financial acumen and understanding of accounting principles

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Familiarity with Java APIs
• Proficiency in using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe)
• Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence, JIRA, and MS Teams
• Comfortable to be challenged by Senior Stakeholders on their own recommendations and justify their decisions
• Comfortable to challenge others and be very data-driven in your approaches/decision making
• Ability to bring people on the journey with you (’sell the strategy’)
• Support regular people and team management administration tasks
