Test Automation Developer

Łódź based opportunity with the possibility to work in a hybrid mode (2 times in the office/month)

As a Test Automation Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading online banking institution. Your primary responsibility entails designing, implementing, and maintaining automated software testing processes. This pivotal role contributes to ensuring the seamless functionality and security of the client’s online banking platform. By employing your expertise in test automation tools and methodologies, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the overall quality and efficiency of the banking services provided to customers.

Your main responsibilities: Designing and creating tools/processes to support test automation

• Assisting in the installation and configuration of test automation tools
• Proportion: approximately 40% manual regression and minimum 40% automated tests
• Designing, creating, conducting, and maintaining automated software tests
• Managing, creating, and maintaining automation scripts
• Conducting business analysis with clients and selecting regression test scenarios
• Verifying the quality of automation scripts and test documentation provided by team members
• Managing the repository of test documentation and artifacts
• Monitoring and optimizing the test automation process
• Creating and managing test environments
• Preparing test data, creating mocks, and collaborating with developers and other automation specialists

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in testing and test automation
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JAVA or C#, HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular
• Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and selected tools (Selenium, Protractor, Jenkins, TeamCity, SoapUI, IDEs, JMetter, GIT, Bitbucket, etc.)
• Commercial experience in application testing
• Commercial experience in creating and maintaining automated tests (using Appium)
• Knowledge of DevOps approach (can be theoretical)
• Familiarity with user requirement analysis methodologies and system design methodologies
• Understanding of processes related to manual software testing
• Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate within a team and with business owners
