Test Specialist

Location: Warszawa with a 100% remote work

As a Test Specialist, you will be working for our client, a leading bank and financial institution offering a wide range of services to individuals, small businesses, and large corporations. You will join a team responsible for developing and maintaining processes and functionalities related to credit and debit card operations – from limits and repayments to statement generation. You will take part in a project involving backend systems testing, API testing, and integration with other banking modules.

Your main responsibilities: Performing backend system and API tests

• Verifying the correctness of card-related processes in banking systems
• Preparing and executing test scenarios in tools such as JIRA/Xray
• Analyzing test results and reporting defects
• Collaborating with development and analysis teams in an Agile/SCRUM environment
• Using tools such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB and relational databases for data verification
• Participating in integration and acceptance testing
• Documenting the testing process and results

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Have experience in integration and acceptance testing
• Have knowledge of REST technology
• Are familiar with Android and iOS systems
• Have experience with Android Studio
• Have worked in an Agile/SCRUM environment
• Are proficient with JIRA
• Have experience in backend systems and API testing
• Have the ability to create test scenarios

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of PL/SQL or Oracle SQL
• Experience in unit or e2e testing
• Knowledge of SOAP technology
• Experience in process analysis for testing
• Knowledge of the Cucumber tool
• Knowledge of MongoDB or PostgreSQL databases
• Experience in test automation
