As a Transaction Control Expert,you will be working for our client, a prominent global investment bank known for delivering financial services to millions of customers across more than 160 countries. You will join a team responsible for supporting securities-related processes with a focus on accuracy, control, and continuous improvement. The role is crucial in maintaining transaction records, supporting client onboarding, and implementing process efficiencies. You will contribute to the analysis, documentation, and execution of complex financial transactions, ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance within a high-paced environment.

Your key responsibilities: Book transactions accurately and on time for investment fund accounts

• Prepare and deliver standard and custom accounting reports to internal stakeholders
• Perform control checks to validate transaction entries and summarize accounting data
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of responsibilities
• Respond to both standard and complex queries with high-quality business communication
• Analyse data to identify process improvements and make recommendations to management
• Support the team during non-standard scenarios using broad knowledge and expertise
• Identify and report process risks, then develop and implement mitigation solutions
• Create and update procedural documentation in line with operational standards
• Lead or actively participate in cross-functional and departmental projects

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 2–4 years of experience in transaction control, accounting, or a related financial role
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong project management skills with a proactive approach to task execution
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
• Proficiency in analysing financial data to support process improvements
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with data analysis and transaction processing tools
• Familiarity with process automation and onboarding financial services clients
• Commitment to upholding organizational values and internal control principles
