As a Guidewire Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading insurance provider known for its innovative approach to digital transformation within the financial sector. They are embarking on a critical project focused on enhancing and expanding their core claims management system, utilizing cutting-edge Guidewire technology. This initiative aims to streamline operations, improve customer experience, and integrate seamlessly with various external applications, ultimately modernizing their infrastructure. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing robust solutions that directly impact the client’s efficiency and service delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact project within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

Your main responsibilities: Design and program solutions within Guidewire ClaimCenter 10

• Integrate Guidewire with external applications
• Provide technical support during analysis
• Create unit tests
• Ensure code quality and optimization

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience programming in Gosu and Guidewire ClaimCenter
• Minimum 3 years of experience in object-oriented programming (e.g., Java)
• Good knowledge of relational databases
• Good knowledge of Web Service, REST API, and XML technologies
• Experience applying good programming practices and design patterns
• Good command of English for reading technical documentation
• Ability to organize your own work and collaborate within a team
• Completed first-degree studies in a relevant field
• Experience working with version control systems (Git) (nice to have)
• Participation in projects conducted according to Scrum principles using project management tools like JIRA or Confluence
• Knowledge of Spring Boot, IBM MQ (nice to have)
