Data & Reporting Senior Developer

As a Data & Reporting Senior Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution, supporting their Data & Architecture Office. This team is pivotal in driving connections between business processes, data, products, services, and technology to enhance customer interactions and financial success.

Your main responsibilities:

• Leading end-to-end delivery of assigned projects, including developing performance KPIs and data models aligned with standards and business requirements
• Conducting matching and linking across datasets
• Ensuring secure data movement from sources to targets
• Utilizing ETL and data tools for integration across various databases/platforms
• Providing complex reporting solutions within Google Cloud and/or Microsoft SQL Server environments, employing Python, TSQL, and other technologies
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and identify process improvements

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in data-related roles, including SQL development, data analysis, engineering, architecture, and management
• Advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in SQL programming and relational database systems
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform products, particularly BigQuery and Data Studio, with understanding of ETL and data warehousing principles
• Fluent English
• A positive attitude, proactive approach, and goal-oriented mindset, with a drive to support projects beyond task completion

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in preparing business reporting and front-end dashboards
• Knowledge of Python
• Expertise in other data visualization tools
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Experience in financial services or banking industry
