API Developer

As an API Developer, you will be working for our client, a prominent financial institution, within the Media and Content team. Your primary focus will be on building and developing crucial integrations for the Forms Factory platform, connecting it to internal banking systems.

Your main responsibilities:

• Designing, documenting and building APIs
• Developing APIs and micro-services to facilitate seamless integration
• Adhering to industry best practices for system design, coding, unit testing and supporting system testing, production release
• Ensuring high-quality technical designs for efficient API functionality
• Following Agile/Scrum methodology throughout the API development process
• Providing warranty support for newly released changes in production

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in integration technologies like Java Spring Boot and MuleSoft
• Proficiency in unit testing tools for comprehensive code testing
• Working knowledge of GitHub
• Familiarity with JIRA/Confluence for project management and documentation
• Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry, MuleSoft, or AWS for cloud-based development
• Prior exposure to API development within the banking or financial services industry

• Familiarity with containerization technologies and serverless architectures
