Application Engineer

Łódź-based opportunity with the possibility to work remotely!

As an Application Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global banking institution, as part of an international team developing, maintaining, and operating a new application focused on CESOP reporting. CESOP (Central Electronic System of Payment Information) is an EU regulation aimed at combating VAT fraud through the transmission and exchange of payment data, particularly focusing on cross-border payments settled by the client within the EEA area.

Your main responsibilities: Optimize operation in production

• Implement changes according to requirements
• Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• Verify vendor software deliveries and conduct initial technical tests
• Control and monitor reporting execution
• Implement change requests via CI/CD pipeline
• Ensure system availability and handle incidents/problems using ticketing systems
• Contribute to conceptual tasks around technical solutions and process models
• Support rollouts in production and prepare ad-hoc reports

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Good knowledge of Google Cloud management
• Good knowledge of MS SQL/Postgres
• Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux virtual environments
• Basic knowledge of XML standard, Ticketing System, and Data and Regulatory reporting
