BI Consultant / Tableau Developer

As a BI Developer you will work for our Client – a global enterprise using science and imagination to advance health and nutrition. You will be working on cutting-edge solutions in the area of crop science – monitoring yields, environmental impact of products, irrigation status, analysing data that will translate into environmental improvements. Your main responsibilities: Design data visualizations and dashboards in Tableau or similar tools

• Learn to design ML algorithms for data-based recommendations
• Optimize the data structure to provide most efficient data visualization
• Develop data quality checks
• Build data governance and data cataloging solutions in tools like Collibra
• Communicate with various technical and business stakeholders (data stewards, analysts, business, management, etc.)
• Collect business requirements, design solutions, processes, run end-user training
• Run knowledge sharing, training, webinars and tech sessions
• Learn new tools and data visualization techniques and pass certified training

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the area of Business Intelligence
• Experience in working with large amounts of data within SQL, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, Excel
• SQL and NoSQL database design skills
• Experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Fluency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization
• Good analytical capabilities
• Version control (git) knowledge
• Recognise the importance of delivering presentable and understandable data
• Ability to work with both IT and business and bridge the gap between them
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Google Looker knowledge
• Knowledge of R language
