As a Cloud Services – Cloud Economics & FinOps Governance Support, you will be working for our client, a renowned financial institution dedicated to helping individuals and businesses achieve their financial potential. You will support the development and implementation of governance frameworks, processes, controls, and reporting for FinOps activities across public and private cloud environments. Your role includes managing CSP credits, coordinating third-party risk management, vendor management, and continuous improvement of FinOps governance.

Your main responsibilities:

• Producing FinOps-related information for key technology governance committees and stakeholders
• Supporting effective governance meetings with FinOps stakeholders and providing timely management information
• Managing the allocation, tracking, and reporting of CSP credits usage
• Overseeing third-party risk management activity for cloud-owned engagements
• Supporting the governance framework for vendor relationships owned by the FinOps Team
• Coordinating communications activities from the Cloud Economics & FinOps Team
• Developing ad hoc reporting and insights for executive decision-making
• Continuously evaluating and improving FinOps governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement strategies

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Ability to collate and present information and data effectively for senior audiences
• Strong attention to detail while understanding the broader context
• Proficiency in documenting ways of working
• A strong sense of internal customer focus and stakeholder management
• Ability to work under time pressures and handle late notice requests efficiently
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements
• Effective collaboration skills with team colleagues and the wider technology community
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
• 5+ years of experience working in large technology organizations
• Proven experience in supporting the design and deployment of governance frameworks in a large complex organization

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certified FinOps Practitioner or other FinOps certification
• Awareness of FinOps industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud financial management
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to influence decision-making
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration across different teams and levels of the organization
