As a Data Analyst, you will be working for our client in the banking sector, specifically within the CTO Database Tooling & Inventory POD. This team operates a global database inventory tool, crucial for maintaining accurate database records and ensuring regulatory compliance. Your tasks will involve upgrading the existing Database Inventory tool to meet compliance standards, analyzing data flows, collaborating with control teams, and delivering solutions based on customer requirements.

Your main responsibilities:

• Uplifting the existing Database Inventory tool for compliance/regulatory adherence
• Understanding and simplifying current data flows upstream and downstream
• Analyzing data requirements for compliance/regulatory adherence in database technologies
• Articulating necessary changes within the POD
• Delivering solutions based on customer requirements
• Supporting users with technical queries and best practices
• Assisting in workload management and change management processes

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Experience analyzing complex data sets
• Proficiency in simplifying data flows and eliminating unnecessary processing
• Strong communication skills to articulate data gaps effectively
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Capability and willingness to work independently
• Proactive mindset and a strong sense of ownership
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for global stakeholder interaction

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of database technologies
• Previous experience in application design simplification
• Willingness to work in UK business hours (10-18 PL time)
