As a Data Scientist responsible for creating models and analyzing data for projects in areas such as process mining, churn analysis, fraud prevention, and NLP, you will play a crucial role in our client team. We are seeking someone who can not only create models but also understand the business problem, locate data within and outside the organization, present a product vision, and engage business partners in its development. In addition to statistical proficiency and machine learning expertise, a strong product sense and engineering skills are equally important in this role. We strongly believe in the „T-shaped data scientist” model.

Your main responsibilities: Create models and analyze data for projects in process mining, churn analysis, fraud prevention, and NLP

• Understand business problems and identify relevant data sources within and outside the organization
• Present a clear product vision and engage business partners in its development
• Demonstrate proficiency in statistics and machine learning techniques
• Utilize SQL and Python (including numpy, scipy, pandas, matplotlib, etc.) for data analysis and modeling
• Explore additional skills such as Java/Scala, experience with Hadoop and Apache Spark, and basic DevOps/Linux Administration skills

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, including libraries for machine learning
• Extra skills in Java/Scala, experience with Hadoop and Apache Spark, and basic DevOps/Linux Administration skills
• Ability to understand complex business problems and translate them into actionable insights
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with business stakeholders
• A product mindset with the ability to envision and drive product development
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
