As a Delivery Manager, you will be working for our client, a leading financial services provider committed to managing and optimizing cutting-edge database technologies. Your primary focus will be on the upliftment of testing processes for Oracle Exacc and MongoDB OpsManager services. This role requires strong leadership and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. You will be responsible for driving project success, optimizing processes, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple database-related projects, focusing on testing upliftment for Oracle Exacc and MongoDB OpsManager
  • Developing detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
  • Monitoring project progress and ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets
  • Identifying and mitigating risks and issues impacting project delivery
  • Leading, mentoring, and motivating project teams to achieve high performance
  • Facilitating effective communication and collaboration among team members
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding project status and deliverables
  • Preparing and presenting regular project status reports to stakeholders
  • Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, risk logs, and post-project reviews
  • Driving the recruitment of resources necessary for project success

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Proven experience in project management or delivery management roles
  • Strong understanding of Agile project management methodologies
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • A ‘Can do’ attitude, viewing challenges as opportunities for growth
  • Attention to detail and expertise in issue tracking
  • Experience in leading and coordinating with subject matter experts (SMEs)
  • Ability to ensure timely and informed technical decision-making by SMEs
  • Experience in building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or relevant certification
  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Familiarity with Oracle Exacc and MongoDB OpsManager
