As a Business/Finance Analyst, you will join our client team and play a key role in optimizing their financial operations. In this role, you will leverage your deep financial expertise and analytical skills to lead and coordinate projects, identify and solve problems, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and competitive advantage.
Your main responsibilities: Lead and manage projects across various areas within Operations, including business change requests, system developments, and new business onboarding
- Proactively identify and resolve issues impacting projects throughout the business area
- Drive continuous improvement by proposing and implementing innovative solutions
- Analyze proposed system changes, ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical solutions for smooth project implementation
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Maintain all necessary project documentation and obtain required approvals
- Escalate potential issues in a timely manner
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal partners including Technology, Oversight teams, Relationship Managers, and Project Managers
- Perform additional business-oriented tasks as assigned by your manager
- Assess risks associated with business decisions, prioritizing the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- 3-5 years of experience within Financial Services
- An excellent understanding of Financial Operations
- Previous reconciliations experience (preferred)
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to filter, prioritize, and validate complex information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- A problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- A high degree of professionalism and integrity
