As a Senior Java Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution, within the Global Traded Risk Technology department. You’ll contribute to the development of Client’s STAR platform, a critical system for risk factor definitions and market data analysis.

Your main responsibilities:

Designing and developing solutions based on user stories in the project’s backlog
Contributing to architecture designs and decisions
Reviewing other team members’ solutions

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

Strong knowledge of Java 17
Experience with Spring Boot and core Spring API’s
Expertise in designing and implementing REST APIs
Proficiency in database technologies, preferably Postgres
Familiarity with DevOps & CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins and Git
Experience in application development using GCP technologies

It is a strong plus if you have:

Knowledge of GCP Technologies: (GKE, gcloud SDK, Cloud SQL, DataFlow, BigTable)
Experience with Grafana, Kubernetes/Docker, Terraform, Messaging/Streaming technologies like Kafka, Vaadin, and Apache Beam
