As a GSNA Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution. You’ll join the Compliance IT- Enterprise Technology department, where cutting-edge Big Data technology and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) are leveraged to combat financial crime.

Your main responsibilities:

• Transforming applications to Google Cloud Platform within the FCTM development team
• Utilizing tools like social network analytics (SNA) and transaction network monitoring software
• Promoting Agile culture while adhering to regulatory standards
• Collaborating with diverse teams to deliver efficient solutions

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, GCP Certification preferred
• 3+ years of DevOps experience
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Git
• Unix administration skills and Bash/shell scripting expertise
• Experience with automation tools like Jenkins, Terraform, and/or Ansible
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Fluent English communication skills for collaboration with UK-based teams
• Experience working with diverse teams and cultures

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of GKE/Kubernetes and Python & Scala development
• Technical background as a software developer
• Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, and Big Data technologies
• Good understanding of databases and ETL processes
• Knowledge of ElasticSearch / Dataproc
• Experience in an international work environment
• Knowledge of other Agile approaches/frameworks other than Scrum
