IAM Python Database Developer

As an IAM Python Database Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution, where you will be an integral part of ensuring data compliance and security. Your role involves extracting and analyzing user data from various database systems, leveraging your expertise in Python and database technologies to develop code for compliance reporting.

Your main responsibilities: collaborating with the compliance team to understand and define data compliance requirements

• Writing Python code to extract user data from diverse database technologies, including but not limited to: Postgres, DB2 LUW, SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle, MongoDB, MongoDB Atlas, Sybase
• Designing, developing, and optimizing data extraction processes
• Performing data cleansing and transformation as needed
• Developing and maintaining scripts and tools for data extraction and reporting
• Creating comprehensive reports and documentation on data compliance
• Troubleshooting and resolving data extraction issues
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data compliance and security
• Staying up to date with the latest Python and database technologies and trends

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience as a Python Developer with a strong database background
• Strong expertise in Python programming and data manipulation
• Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
• Familiarity with data compliance and security concepts
• Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications or training in Python and database technologies
• Experience with other database systems or technologies
• Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) concepts
• Experience in working within the financial industry
• Familiarity with data governance practices
• Previous experience with compliance reporting
• Knowledge of cloud-based database solutions
• Experience with data warehousing and data modeling
• Proficiency in data visualization tools
• Strong project management skills
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in the financial sector
