As an IBM API Connect programmer, you will be working for our client, a renowned financial institution in Saudi Arabia. This position requires a partial relocation to Saudi Arabia. The client is focused on enhancing its API management capabilities using IBM API Connect. Your expertise in this domain will be instrumental in developing and implementing robust APIs to enable seamless integration and communication between various systems.

Your main responsibilities: Utilize IBM API Connect to design and develop APIs that meet the client’s business requirements

• Leverage Datapower knowledge to ensure secure and reliable API communication
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define API specifications
• Implement API policies and apply best practices for efficient and scalable API management
• Use Node.js and JavaScript to develop custom solutions and extend API functionality

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong knowledge and experience with IBM API Connect
• Familiarity with Datapower for secure API communication
• Proficiency in Node.js for API development
• Expertise in JavaScript programming language
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
