As a Infrastructure Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading global bank, specializing in providing technology solutions for its Global Markets and Securities business worldwide. Traded Risk IT, an essential global unit, focuses on delivering risk management IT solutions to support all regions and business lines, ensuring compliance with the Group Risk Strategy. As a Service Reliability Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability and performance of the Client’s services and infrastructure.

Your main responsibilities:

• Implementing and maintaining monitoring solutions to ensure system and service performance
• Responding promptly to incidents, troubleshooting issues, and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime
• Developing and maintaining automation scripts and tools for infrastructure deployment and configuration
• Analyzing system performance metrics to identify potential bottlenecks and scalability limitations
• Collaborating with engineering teams to optimize system performance and resource utilization
• Adhering to reliability best practices and driving initiatives to improve system reliability
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement reliability requirements
• Participating in design and code reviews and incident post-mortems for continuous improvement

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience in reliability engineering, systems administration, or DevOps
• Experience with Agile and DevOps practices
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Unix shell, or PowerShell
• Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms (preferably GCP) and experience with IaC tools
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and ELF stack or similar
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies
• Knowledge of Databases (PostgreSQL)
• Working with API and micro service technologies
• Technical skills/certifications in Java, Jenkins, Ansible, Git, Python, Shell, Terraform, etc.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of Financial Risk management or Traded Risk domain
• Familiarity with OLAP, ETL, and emerging technologies
• Additional skills/certifications in Python, SPARK, Docker, Kubernetes, Scrum Master, or PMP
• Knowledge of columnar databases like Clickhouse
• FRM or CFA certification
