As a Model Risk Policy Expert, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution renowned for its strategic planning and stress testing initiatives. In this role, you will be part of the Stress Testing Delivery team, focusing on developing and preparing internal and regulatory stress testing submissions. You will define global standards, support transformational changes, and ensure alignment between forecasting processes and methodologies. Collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders, you will provide oversight and support for stress testing and planning exercises, contributing to the overall strategic planning framework.
Your main responsibilities:
- Defining global standards across all forecasting exercises
- Supporting the delivery of transformational changes across the function
- Providing oversight and support for stress testing and planning processes
- Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure delivery of model risk management milestones
- Analyzing and supporting regulatory guidance and internal policies on model risk
- Designing frameworks, standards, and methodologies for forecasting
- Delivering timely, accurate, and insightful management information
- Driving and implementing changes while managing multiple deliverables
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal control standards
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- A strong understanding of strategic planning, financial forecasting, and stress testing processes
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for effective model risk management
- Excellent analytical skills from both a financial and business perspective
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- The ability to work effectively with stakeholders and influence outcomes
- An understanding of key drivers of model risk and related management principles
- Experience in planning for complex activities in a financial institution
- Demonstrable understanding of effective controls and data management
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
